He is God.

"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father." From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more." John 6:63-66.

Are we listening to Jesus? He speaks to us through the Bible, His word. He writes it on our hearts and minds. He warns us. He admonishes us. He speaks truth. He speaks love. He speaks salvation. He shows us what sin is, and that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. He shows us that we all need a Savior. He plainly tells us that He is Salvation. All we need do is believe and receive Him.

He's telling us to remember….He is with us…….He is speaking, even in this present darkness and time of lying deception. Satan, the father of lies trying to distort and destroy truth at every turn. It's so important to know who God is, and isn't. He tells us who He is in His word. He is who He says He is, and He says who He is, in His word.  He is with us always, so we are never at risk of believing lies, if we keep asking Him for truth. Keep asking Him. Listen to Him, not the news reporters' lies, nor politician's who lie. Listen and ask for truth. He delivers. He's not far away. He's here.

Our Father, hallowed be Your name, we come to You with worship, praise and thanks for Jesus and our salvation. Please keep us from believing lies. Help us spread the good news of the gospel of Christ with our whole lives until our dying breath. Please build our faith. We love You. Amen.
